Ride: Kentucky Twisty Back Roads 

Description: I have been doing the Kentucky Twisty ride for some years; this year’s ride is a combination of rides past.  Our morning will start off 34 miles expressway riding to get us to KY 17.  Our 1st stop will be 42 miles (Independence KY) and after a short break we will start having fun riding through parts of Cedar Line Nature Preserve, Williamstown, Elk Creek, Kleber Wildlife Area, Corinth, Falmouth, Kincaid Creek, Twelvemile Creek, California, Camp Springs, and Silver Grove Kentucky…

This will be 185 miles full of twists and turns a few switchbacks and beautiful county landscape.

The return back to Powder Keg will be Interstate 275 returning late afternoon.

If you are looking for a relaxing cruise, this is not the ride for you. But if you want a spirited ride slicing through some good corners, this ride will satisfy that craving.

Road Conditions: The overall road conditions are good with occasional breaks in the road.

Costs:  Gas, and Food

Miles:  Approximately 270 miles

Lunch Stop:  I am asking everyone to bring their own pack lunch.  I have a cool place for us to 
congregate for our lunch stop.

Break Stops: Most will be every 40 or 60 miles, but because of the riding area time in the saddle on 1 or 2 will be over an hour.

Staging: 8:00 am BP Gas Station 5591 OH -741 Mason Ohio 45040 - On the other side of the Highway from Powder Keg - Next to Perkins

Kickstands Up: 8:30am  

Return Time: Late Afternoon

This is a CLOSED chapter event – members are allowed to bring one guest.

Please arrive with tanks full, people empty.
