National Wreaths Across America Day December 17, 2022.

SPONSOR A WREATH HERE

Every year it is their mission to Remember, Honor, Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,500 additional locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad.

Wreath Sponsorship: So, what does it mean to sponsor a wreath? It means you can have the opportunity to join a grateful nation in saying “thank you” to our veterans. The cost for wreaths: 1 wreath $15, 2 wreaths $30, 5 wreaths $75. Please us the link ABOVE. There is not a deadline for sponsoring wreaths I am sure the earlier the better.

Volunteers: It’s a day that’s been set aside to lay wreaths and teach about our veterans, cemeteries, monuments, and parks… Anywhere we can pay tribute to their sacrifices. Wreaths are hand-crafted of all-American balsam and hand-tied with red velvet bow here in Columbia Falls, Maine. It will then be sent to one of our participating locations, where a volunteer will place it on a marker of a fallen hero. The volunteer will then “say their name” to ensure that the legacy of duty, service and sacrifice of that veteran will never be forgotten.

Ladies of Harley would like to invite you for a day of service for our fallen Soldiers. They will have a Ceremony at Noon at Dayton National Cemetery then after that we begin to lay wreaths. We will lay wreaths until they are gone. We will need Volunteers to lay wreaths and you can also Sponsor Wreaths. Please use the link below to sponsor wreaths. I will sign us up all together to volunteer as GROUP Powder Keg Hog Chapter so please RSVP on the calendar by November 25th.
