Triple Nickel
Event Date:
Sat. 06/11/2022 – 8:00am to
Sun. 06/12/2022 – 5:00pm
Day 1 - The Triple Nickel, referred to as Ohio’s Tail of the Dragon, seems as though it was designed specifically for motorcyclists. Enjoy a thrilling ride through some of the most beautiful farmland and forests that Ohio has to offer. This road consistently ranks in the top five among motorcycle enthusiasts. Car and Driver magazine in 2020 published a list of the dozen best driving (and riding) roads in America. First on their list: Ohio State Route 555!
We will start with a leisurely ride up St. Rt. 22/3 to Fink’s Harley-Davidson just south of Zanesville. I recommend packing a lunch; however, there are fast-food restaurants near the dealership if you prefer. After lunch and spending some time at Fink’s, we pick up the Triple Nickel and ride the beautiful beast down to the river. From there we will head over to Marietta where we will be spending the night.

Day 2 – Leaving Marietta, we will be on more great scenic, twisty, challenging roads such as OH SR 550/329/356 before the roads finally begin to straighten out. Caution: smiles will take a little longer to straighten out! We will stop for lunch in Chillicothe; there is a Wendy’s and McDonalds next to each other so you can pick your poison. The rest of the ride home will be a bit more relaxing arriving at the Keg by approximately 4:00pm.
Day 2 Distance: approximately 192 miles.
Staging: Behind Wendy’s at 7:30am
